On April 24, Pakistan reported that Bollywood star Tiger Shroff has become the most recent celebrity from the film industry to receive a death threat via telephone, following similar incidents involving Shah Rukh and Salman Khan.

According to reports from Indian media outlets, the Mumbai Police were contacted via a threatening telephone call on Tuesday. The caller, who has since been recognized as Manish Kumar Sujinder Singh from Punjab, allegedly disclosed a supposed plan to assassinate popular Bollywood star Tiger Shroff.

As per the information provided, the prankster asserted that they were employed by a security boss to eliminate the lead actress of ‘Heropanti’ and was supplied with both a pistol and ₹2 lakh to carry out this scheme.

After the telephone conversation, the Mumbai police quickly filed a First Information Report and initiated the inquiry.

Later, the 35-year-old suspect was apprehended in Kapurthala, Punjab, and charged under sections 353, 212, and 217 of the IPC, for spreading misinformation and trying to incite public disorder.

According to Singh, his actions were motivated by rage toward his employers following repeated salary cuts because of his frequent absence from work. Consequently, with the aim of seeking vengeance and damaging the firm’s image, he supposedly invented this narrative.

In his professional endeavors, Tiger Shroff, most recently featured in director Rohit Shetty’s festive blockbuster ‘Singham Again’, is set to appear next in the fourth entry of Sajid Nadiadwala’s high-octane action-thriller franchise, ‘Baaghi 4’. This highly anticipated movie is slated for theatrical release this coming September.
