On April 24, Pakistani actress Naeema Butt disclosed that she had received offers for film roles in Bollywood previously; however, she was unable to pursue those opportunities because of visa issues with India.

During her latest public appearance, actress Naeema Butt, who primarily lives in New York, discussed getting proposals for films and television shows from Indian industries. However, she was unable to take these opportunities because of the restriction imposed on Pakistani performers in India.

“I have previously been approached for Indian projects. In fact, I was even considered for dramas and a fantastic web series on an OTT platform featuring talented actors from India and Pakistan. However, ultimately, these opportunities couldn’t come through because my passport indicates that I am unwelcome,” Butt stated.

At present, I hold a Pakistani passport, yet I am also a U.S. green card holder,” she mentioned additionally. “I remain optimistic about improvements and look forward to seeing artists from different countries collaborating more closely.
